Sourcing for some quicker turnaround stories
Adorable baby sheep, nutrients you need more of as you get older, artificial sweeteners, face yoga & more.
Hi all. I went viral this week for a hilarious tweet about a sheep, which was super random. But seriously, how cute is he???? :-p

Now onto what I need to source for ASAP:
AARP
Nutrients Need More of As You Age
Looking to connect with some MDs and nutritionists (not attached to brands) who can discuss:
Why our bodies need different nutrients after age 50
Would love a list of nutrients you need more of as you get older— i.e. research shows we need more calcium, protein, B6, magnesium, Omega-3s, zinc as we age.
Some blurbs on how to get these nutrients from foods, serving sizes, how much of the nutrient each food contains.
HUFFINGTON POST
TK Risks Associated With Artificial Sweeteners
Looking for MDs and RDs to talk about studies that link various artificial sweeteners to health issues (heart issues, dementia and other risks), and some alternative options for sweetening common meals that can be healthier (i.e. use frozen berries to sweeten smoothies, etc.)
Face Yoga
Looking for some face yoga professionals to weigh in on some of the best beginner moves to treat common conditions like crow’s feet, etc.
These are all pretty time sensitive, which is why I sent out this rushed Substack. Please email me NCPajer@gmail.com if you have any clients who may be a good fit for this!
Everything you need to know about networking with journalists
I also wanted to give everyone a quick heads up on a group workshop Jill Schildhouse and I are running on networking with journalists.

We offer these as private sessions for agencies or individuals as part of Top Tier Consulting, but now we’re making them more accessible and affordable for freelance publicists and smaller agencies, too!

Learn how to meet new journalists, and discover best practices for staying in touch, following up, and creating meaningful relationships.
Format: 1-hour workshop via Zoom with Jill and Nicole includes:

Thanks in advance for pitches. I promise even though I might not get back to everyone, I do read them all.
P.S. Come say hi on socials!
Hi Nicole!
I have two things to consider adding to your list about things to ask Drs about. One is CoQ10 - studies showed that Womens production of the heart protection source haves after menopause. Women who had heart attacks and died, had low CoQ10 levels. I find that it gives me energy.
I love Maca powder for a more natural energy boost. Many drs might not know about supplements as they aren't taught about them in school . My nurse practitioner does. I'll see if she's free.
That’s hysterical!!!!
