Happy Wednesday everyone. Hope you all had a fun holiday weekend. Random Nicole updates: It was in the 100s all weekend here. I went to the beach and lasted an hour trying to relax on a blanket and read. Bring on the fall and pumpkin everything! :-) I just finished the book “A Good Marriage” and the entire time I was reading it, I was picturing the villian from Netflix’s Lincoln Lawyer in my head whenever this one character was referenced. I sat down at a restaurant yesterday and he of all people was at the table next to me. Also FINALLY bought a mattress for my husband’s parent’s house (when we visit, we sleep on my husband’s high school mattress and it’s no buenos for our backs) on a big major Labor Day sale so that was fun.
Thanks for all the kind words about my new co-consulting venture, Top Tier Consulting. People have been saying such amazing things and it’s much appreciated. For those of you who may have missed the announcement last week, it’s my new collaboration with fellow writer Jill Schildhouse. The two of us have been in the writing game a long time and have decided to combine our extensive knowledge to help publicists learn how to best work with journalists to secure top-tier coverage. We have all sorts of exciting packages we’re offering. We’re just getting started and the reviews from our sessions have already been so warm and fuzzy. :-) All. The. Feels!
We also have a Top Tier newsletter that will be launching next week where we do weekly deep dives into “taking your media coverage to the top from two top-tier journalists.” This means you’ll have our personal experiences and best advice for publicists delivered to your inbox on a weekly basis. We’re treating this like any other article we’d be commissioned to write, meaning we are pouring our professional elbow grease into this, x2, and are therefore charging a nominal feel to join (Substack lets you sign up for free but to take advantage you’ll want to convert to a paid plan). We have several different subscription options – i.e. Founding Members will be able to attend monthly “Ask Us Anything Zoom” sessions where we’ll answer your burning questions that came up that month. Looking forward to landing in your inbox soon. :-)
And now to the good stuff. I have a lot I am sourcing for this week.
