Happy Wednesday y’all.
Hope everyone is doing well. What have you all been up to this week? What have I been up to this week? Work, taking the pups for some walks and binging some good TV shows. I’m on a doctor ordered take it easy in the physical department ordeal this week and early next so trying not to go too stir crazy. Missing Peloton riding with Cody Rigsby but will be back in action soon!
My recent watch was Bad Vegan. Did anyone else catch that? OMG was that completely wild. If you haven’t watched, it’s worth a whirl. It’s basically a woman who had the chance to have vegan restaurant world dominance who then turned down a date from Alec Baldwin but decided to date a guy she saw was exchanging Twitter messages with the star. That guy convinced her he could make her and her dog immortal if she passed a series of tests, which involved her wiring him over $1.6 million over the course of 4 years and pulling funds from her NYC restaurant, screwing over her loyal employees in the process. Dominos Pizza gets involved and you really can’t make this stuff up!
Also the Severance season finale - talk about a cliffhanger. If you aren’t watching that (on Apple TV+) DEFINITELY DO IT. What do I watch next?
Now to the good stuff…
Here are some calls for sources I’m needing this week:

Women who used fashion to heal (i.e. specific shoes for plantar fasciitis, etc.)
A woman who got a non-surgical nose job or neck lift (need before and after pictures)
A woman who used a digital detox as a cure for extreme tiredness OR some other chronic problem
A few other tidbits:
#1: Book a lunch & learn with me. I have been doing hour-long Zooms with PR agencies to chat about the ins and outs of how I do my job as a journalist and to answer all your burning questions about how pitches work, what catches my eye, angles that are helpful for freelancers to consider, relationship maintaining, etc. I’ve done some university talks + booked panels on this so it’s basically a mini version of that. If this is something you’d be interested in for your agency, let me know as I would love to chat with you. :-)
#2: Looking to boost your affiliate marketing chops? Highly recommend this course by a friend of mine: https://affiliateforpublicists.thinkific.com/courses/ultimate-masterclass-and-introduction-to-affiliate-marketing-for-publicists?ref=ee474e. It has everything and anything you needed to know about affiliate marketing in this bad boy.
#3: Still looking for female celebs ages 40 & up for cover stars for Parade’s sister publication, which has a health and wellness spin. NOTE: Must be household names. Past covers have included Laura Linney, Cynthia Nixon, Christina Applegate, Sheryl Crow, Katie Couric, Robin Roberts, Trisha Yearwood, Elizabeth McGovern, Dionne Warwick, Eva Longoria.
#4: Also been doing a ton of copywriting lately and loving that. If any clients are looking for banner ads, one-sheets, bios, social media ads, etc., would love to chat!
#5: Keep pitching me - interesting trends, products, people to interview, etc. I love receiving ideas from publicist.
#6: As a reminder: I read ALL of your pitches. I try to respond when I can but my inbox does get busy sometimes. Extending another “thank you” to everyone who submits for these substacks. If I can’t work you in this time, will try in the future. You guys make my job so much easier and mad appreciation!
Please submit pitches to NCPajer@gmail.com. And have a great rest of your week!
